Dec. 8, Test Equipment on Air Cycle Machine (ACM) repairs passed airworthiness audit. Ameco Beijing hereafter ended the history that delivering ACM repairs to other MROs.
Oct. 17, Ameco Beijing successfully completed a structure sampling inspection on an Air China's A340 aircraft, which is the first time in China Aviation Industry.
Oct. 13, Ameco Beijing was formally accepted by IATP (International Airlines Technical Pool) as an associate member at the 98th IATP conference held in Luxembourg.
Sep. 25, Ameco Beijing signed an agreement with Condor to add blended winglets for nine of its 767-300ERs.

Jan. 17, Ameco Beijing signed a long-term leasing agreement with China Aviation Supplies Corporation (CASC). Based on the agreement, Ameco Beijing will lease a Boeing 737 NG landing gear from CASC, which marks that Ameco Beijing has expanded its spare Boeing 737 NG LDG pool to provide customer with one-for-one exchange/overhaul services.

Sep. 19 to 22 Ameco Beijing attended the 12th Aviation Exploration China 2007. During this Air show, Ameco Beijing has become EATON¡¯s authorized service center.

June 27 PW4000/CFW56/V2500 fuel flow governor/ fuel pump test bench jointly developed by Ameco, Civil Aviation University of China and CNAH has passed the airworthiness test, which made Ameco Beijing become the first company to have the test bench in China.
May 25 Ameco signed centralized subcontracted component agreement with Air China.
May 1 Ameco Beijing implemented 8C Check for A340 (B-2386) of Air China. It is the first time for Ameco to perform heavy maintenance on airbus wide body aircraft, which marks Ameco has the heavy maintenance ability on both Boeing and Airbus wide body aircraft.

Feb. 12 the successful completion of UA Boeing 777(N229UA) heavy maintenance marked the end of the first cooperation phase. Ameco has performed heavy maintenance on 27 UA Boeing 777 aircrafts and many aircrafts have been delivered ahead of time. UA expressed they were very satisfied with our successful performance.

Dec. 8, Ameco
Beijing¡¯s Public Bonded Warehouse came into operation
officially.
Nov. 30, annual acceptance inspection from 6S Management Office
came to an end. The overall average score in the company reached
up to 89.9, which is beyond company expectation.
Nov. 22, Ameco Beijing and LHT signed a letter of intent on
Boeing 747-400 heavy maintenance subcontract.
Oct. 27, Ameco Beijing 36th Board of Directors meeting was held
in Chengdu. In the board meeting it is approved that Mr. Meisel
will take over the General Manager position from Dr. Schmitz.
Sept. 22, Ameco Beijing¡¯s A380 hangar foundation laying ceremony
was held, kicking off the construction of the Asian biggest A380
hangar.
Sept. 1, after deleting engine/component/facility (RD) from
organization while setting up Operation Division (OD), the
former PI and PG are merged into PL, affiliated to PD and former
PS and RB are merged into FS, affiliated to FD. The first step
of organizational change concluded.
Aug. 9, Ameco Aviation College (AAC) obtained CCAR Part147
certificate issued by CAAC North-China Regional Administration
Division (RAD) and becomes the first CCAR Part147 certified
training organization in China.
July 10, Ameco Beijing¡¯s organizational change commences.
Aircraft maintenance/overhaul (MD) and engine/component/facility
(RD) were deleted from organization while setting up Operation
Division (OD).
July 1, C check for Air China Beijing fleet was handed over to
OA from OM.
June 14, 6S management experimental work came to an end. Working
environment becomes comfortable and orderly. Mr. Chai Weixi,
general manager & CEO, expressed his satisfaction to the result
and required all staff to maintain achievement.
June 6, Ameco Beijing signed Trustee Management Contract with
Taiping Pension Corporation Ltd. (Taiping Pension) to manage and
supervise Ameco Beijing employees¡¯ annuity.
In May, Ameco Aviation College (AAC) was the first to get the
approval from Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to
be the basic skill license test station. AAC became the first
test station that has the test qualifications for paper test,
oral test and basic skill test.
May 31, Ameco Beijing held ¡°An Kang Cup¡± commendation meeting.
Ameco Beijing awarded the units and individuals who performed
outstanding in the campaign. After 5-year unremitting efforts,
Ameco Beijing gained the title of excellent company in the ¡°An
Kang Cup¡± campaign 2005.
May 26, Ameco 35th Board of Directors Meeting was held. Mr. Li
Jiaxiang resigned from Chairman position, which is replaced by
Mr. Ma Xulun. Ameco Beijing¡¯s organizational change plan was
approved in this meeting.
April 18, CAAC published the Science & Technology Awards in
2005. All of the four achievements Ameco created won the awards,
and Ameco became the company obtaining the most awards, and the
one on the list in 17 consecutive years.
April 4, 2006, Ameco Beijing and Air China signed a Modification
Engineering Service Agreement. This action indicates that the
Ameco Beijing¡¯s engineering services has changed from internal
technical support to customer-oriented engineering service
provider.
March 31, Ameco Beijing and China Eastern Yunnan Branch signed 4
sets of Boeing 737-300 aircraft landing gear exchange overhaul
agreement.
March 15, Ameco Beijing held 2006 Work Conference with the theme
of ¡°Living the Values¡±. General Manager Mr. Chai Weixi said that
this year we would find the problems from ourselves and
comprehensively enhance work quality and efficiency by
acknowledging company core values
Feb. 22, the 3rd 500 Top Chinese Companies Information
meeting was held. Ameco Beijing for the first time was listed in
the 500 Top information companies and was awarded with the best
management innovation enterprise in 2005. FI manager Mr. Chong
Feng was awarded as the outstanding information manager of the
year.
Jan. 20, on the outstanding individual and groups
commendation meeting held by Air China, 5 persons from Ameco
Beijing were awarded outstanding individuals. OM41-4 and the
fuel tank group from OA heavy maintenance workshop 2 were
awarded the outstanding groups of Air China.

In November, The
test cell of Ameco can now run the Cool Engine Fuel Spike Test for
PW4000. The test got approval of P&W. Ameco became only Chinese
company to have this ability. Moreover, Ameco is also the first
maintenance company in the world to have such test ability for
PW4000 besides the engine manufacture itself.
Nov. 6, Ameco
successfully completed 3C-check for Austria's Lauda Air. It's the
first time to do this kind of check for international
customer.
Nov. 4 to 8, as
the only one Chinese exhibitor, Ameco attended the 7th
Dubai Aviation Exhibition.
Oct.19, Ameco Visual Identity Manual
was published and implemented.
Oct.14, Ameco completed
the replacement of upper and lower chords with the lower sill at the
front cargo door of Boeing 767. It marks the first time the Chinese
civil aviation industry has conducted replacement of major structure
components on Boeing 767, with the quality fully meeting with Boeing
standard. It is said that before Ameco's achievement, only Boeing's
AOG group managed such work twice in the world.

2000, Ameco acquired new customers such as Philippine Airlines,
Transaero, Egypt Air, Air Gulf Falcon and EL AL. Ameco also renewed contracts with customers including China Southwest, China Southwest Chongqing Branch, Air China Tianjin Branch, Changcheng Airlines, Yunnan Airlines and
Asiana, etc.
2000, the employee, Mr. Weng Zhiguang was awarded "China Grand Award for skills". Mr. Weng Zhiguang and Mr. Ye Chunguang was honored as the National Skillful Cracker-jacks.
September 2000, Ameco Aviation College passed the ISO9001 audit and became the first and only aircraft maintenance-training institute to be awarded ISO9001 certification in Asia. Meanwhile, the CBT (Computer-Based Training) was put into operation.
July 2000, Ameco passed the FAA renewal audit.
June 2000, Ameco first successfully performed the modification of bulkhead at No. 178 body station. It is another ice-break in Chinese civil aviation industry.
June 2000, Ameco's calibration laboratory passed the accreditation of CNACL and the State Quality & Technology Supervision Bureau and thence became the first lab in the civil aviation industry that has passed the accreditation.
May 1st, 2000, Mr. Ma Kuiliang took over the position of General Manager & CEO of
Ameco.
April 2000, Ameco reshuffled the organization of Aircraft Maintenance Subdivision. The new organization contributed to the drastic decrease of delay rates with 2¡ë reached as a new record in

February 26, 2000, Ameco completed D-check, Strut Modification, Painting and Cabin Refurbishment on a 747 aircraft of Philippine Airlines in 36 days.

Ameco participated the Air Shows held respectively in Singapore and
Zhuhai. Ameco's reputation in the domestic and international market was further improved.
1999
December 30,
1999, Ameco completed D-check with Strut Modification and Painting on a 747-200 aircraft of Tower Air. This is the first D check on U.S.-registered aircraft.
During the 10 years of the joint venture,
Ameco has ensured 262 special flights for the top leaders of the Party and the State. Leaders at different levels commented highly on each flight.
