RP welcomed the first PW4000 domestic customer
On July 25 this year, China Eastern Airlines Corporation Ltd. (CEA) sent one PW4460
(ESN 723821) to Ameco for overhaul. It is the first time for Ameco
to perform overhaul on PW4000 engine owned by CEA and also the first time to perform overhaul to engine of this kind for domestic customer other than Air China.

Ameco successfully performed 4C Check on Aeroflot Boeing 777
This June Lufthansa Technik signed a contract with Amceo Beijing for a 4C Check on a
Aeroflot B777.The aircraft with the Bermuda Registration VP-BAS arrived on July 21st.
Although this was the first "Heavy Check" for Aeroflot, including engine
removal, under
the responsibility of MA the check was completed on time and to the satisfaction of
the customers.

Ameco successfully supported Air China's polar route operation
On August 19, Air China successfully completed its first polar route operation demonstration flight. In order to support the flight this time, Ameco had made
thorough preparation.

Ameco finished waxing Boeing 737 fleet of Air China
On Sept.4, MM successfully completed waxing work for one Boeing 737-800 (B-2648) owned by Air China, which symbolizes the end
of the whole waxing work for the entire Boeing 737 fleet of Air China Beijing Base.It is said that Ameco is ready to perform
waxing also for Air China's Boeing767 fleet.

Annual Boeing 737 symposium held in Weihai
Sept.12-13, Ameco held its annual Boeing 737 maintenance engineering & technical symposium at
Weihai, Shan Dong Province. Representatives from CAAC, North China Administration Bureau,
more than twenty domestic airlines and three media attended
the conference. From Ameco side, Mr. He Li, General Manager & CEO,
Mr. Harry Seeger and Mr. Zheng Yan, Executive Directors of Support & Marketing Division and Mr. Li
Jianjun, Executive Director of Facility & Repair Division were present at the conference.

Ameco's first D check for Corsair's Boeing 747
On Sept. 24, Ameco began to perform 3D check for Boeing 747-300 (F-GSEA) owned by Corsair. It is the first time for Ameco to cooperate with
this company. At present, D check goes on smoothly.

On Oct.3, Ameco successfully overhauled the engine
typed JT9D-7R4G2 (715292) owned by Egypt Air. This success has proved Ameco's capability to overhaul JT90 and PW4000 engines.

On Oct. 11, 30th anniversary of diplomatic relation between China and Germany was held in Ameco 4 bay hanger. Former

German Hamburger Parliament Delegation Visited Ameco
On October 15 afternoon, German Hamburger Parliament Delegation
visited Ameco. General Manager Mr. Walter Heerdt gave the warmest welcome
and introduced Ameco. After answering the questions raised by the guests,
Mr. Heerdt showed the delegation around in AAC training workshop, RP workshop
and four bay hangar.

On October 24 Ameco succeeded completing Asiana Boeing 737-400 (HL7510)
whole body stripping and painting. It is the fifth time that Ameco succeeded completing Asiana Boeing 737 stripping and painting.

5 a.m., November 5, Lauda Air's Boeing777-200
(OE-LPA), having
been performed 5C check, departed from Beijing. This is one of the two
Lauda Air's aircrafts for C check based on the agreement.

2002 civil aviation technological achievement award announced
On Nov.27, 2002, China Civil Aviation Technological Achievement Assessment Conference was held in Beijing. 27 out of 31 nominations got awarded. Ameco's three technological achievements won second
prizes and one got third prize. In addition, Mr. He Li, the only one from civil aviation MRO industry, was permitted into the newly
established Technological Committee of CAAC.

The second MRO Asia Conference and Exhibition was held in Singapore
from December 3th to December 5th. Ameco, one of the most important MRO corporations in Asia, and LHT
(Lufthansa High Technik) attended this conference and exhibition.
